Job summary

Northwest Respiratory Services is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist, RN or LPN to support the Milwaukee area. The role focuses on setting up home medical equipment and providing comprehensive instruction and ongoing support for patients in home care and skilled nursing facilities.

You will work with oxygen concentrators, BiPAP/CPAP and other devices, delivering high-quality care while maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring patient safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, RN or LPN in a home care setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in administering respiratory treatments and therapies.
• Experience with patient assessment, monitoring, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up and provide instruction of home medical equipment including oxygen concentrators, BiPAP, CPAP and other devices.
• Provide routine equipment maintenance, proper use, safety, cleaning and continuing education to clients.
• Schedule and conduct staff in-services of respiratory equipment to skilled nursing facilities as requested.
• Serve as a resource to referrals, physicians, clients and NRS staff; assist with troubleshooting of equipment.
