Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) for travel assignments based in Salisbury, MD.

The RN will provide and document skilled, one-on-one nursing care in the patient’s home or related settings, following physician orders. Travel may be required to accompany patients to appointments and other activities.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where the RN will practice.
• One year of home health nursing experience preferred.
• Maintains CPR certification if applicable.
• TB questionnaire or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate per contract or regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document skilled one-on-one nursing care per physician care plan.
• Care mostly in patient’s home or residential setting; may accompany patient outside home.
• Ensure documentation and adherence to professional standards of practice.

The Home Health Registered Nurse is responsible forproviding and documenting skilled one-on-one nursing care in accordance withthe physician-ordered individualized patient care plan. This care is provided mostly in the patient’shome or a residential setting but can transfer outside the home duringappointments and other activities the nurse may accompany the patient to.

Minimum Requirements

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state inwhich the RN will practice

• One year of home health nursing experience preferred

• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
