Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) for a Baylor shift in Birmingham, AL. This role supports patient recovery at home, empowering families to achieve healthcare goals while educating on disease management and coordinating care with an interdisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license in Alabama, with 2+ years of nursing experience, current CPR/BCLS, and a valid driver’s license. Home health experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state you work.
• Two years of experience as a registered nurse, home health experience preferred.
• Current driver’s license.
• Current CPR and BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Support patient recovery and ability to stay at home - enabling them to spend quality time with their loved ones and doing the activities they enjoy.
• Empower patients and families to reach healthcare goals by educating them on disease management.
• Case manage and provide clinical oversight to interdisciplinary team.
