Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare is seeking a Hospital Liaison/Marketer to drive outside sales and develop referral sources in the healthcare community. This role involves daily face-to-face visits with physicians, discharge planners, and facilities to promote home care services and grow the referral network.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of sales/business development in health care, strong communication skills, and proven ability to exceed referral goals.

Qualifications

• Experience as marketer or business development professional in the healthcare industry.
• Must have existing referral relationships within the local healthcare community.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and commercial insurance referral processes.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and grow referral relationships with physicians, hospital discharge planners, skilled nursing facilities, case managers, assisted living communities, and other healthcare professionals.
• Promote agency services to healthcare providers and the community through in-person visits, presentations, and outreach efforts.
• Meet and exceed monthly referral and admission goals.
• Collaborate with the clinical and intake teams to ensure a smooth referral and admission process.
• Attend networking events, community outreach programs, and marketing functions to increase brand awareness.
• Track referral sources, follow-up activity, and outcomes using reporting tools.
