Job summary

PurposeCare in Columbus, OH is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to recruit, hire, onboard, and coordinate training for Home Health Aides (HHA) to meet weekly agency needs. This role requires collaboration with HR and Clinical teams to ensure compliant onboarding.

Essential duties include interviewing candidates, coordinating pre-employment activities, maintaining confidential records, scheduling, and supporting in-service training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of office experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Experience interviewing and onboarding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and interview Home Health Aides (HHA) based on Branch needs.
• Coordinate and oversee training for HHA candidates.
• Manage pre-employment activities in compliance with company standards.
• Conduct new employee orientation and ensure proper paperwork is completed and filed.
• Maintain confidential employee records and support scheduling and in-service training.

Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) is responsible to recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and coordinate training for new Home Health Aides (HHA) to meet the Agency's needs on a weekly basis. Additional administrative and general office work is required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Recruit, hire, and interview aides based on the needs of the Branch.
• Coordinate and Schule training of candidates to HHA requirements if needed.
• Coordinate and ensure pre-employment activities are completed and in compliance with company standards.
• Conducts new employee orientation and ensures all necessary paperwork is properly filled out and submitted to appropriate areas.
• Works collaboratively with the PurposeCare HR Talent Acquisition team on identifying best practices.
• Following standard operating procedures for maintenance of employment records.
• Ensure that all employee records are up-to-date and kept confidential.
• Assists with scheduling, call-ins, and visit verification if needed.
• Works collaboratively with HR and the Clinical team on conducting annual in-service training.
• Field calls and concerns, triage as necessary
• Coordinates the purchasing of supplies for the branch
• Perform all other duties as requested or assigned

OTHER FUNCTIONS

• Desire to take personal responsibility to complete tasks and solve problems.
• Ability to perform tasks and complete projects with minimal supervision.
• Represent PurposeCare in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service functions by answering applicants' and employees' requests and questions.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education or experience:

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of office experience preferably in a healthcare setting

Preferred:

• At least six months of administrative or office coordinating experience
