Job summary

Elara Caring is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Dallas-area team, delivering high-quality home-based care across the Metroplex. You’ll work under a PT supervision to execute Plan of Care, educate patients and families, and help maintain continuity of care in the patient’s home setting.

We value compassion, reliability, and mobility—travel up to 50% within the branch coverage area is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program approved by the American Therapy Association
• Current, unrestricted PTA license valid for the state of work
• 6+ months experience as a PTA preferred
• Able and willing to travel within branch/office coverage area
• Branch service area includes Dallas, Irving, Plano, Grand Prairie, Carrollton, Richardson
• PTA coverage area determined by location within the Metroplex

Responsibilities

• Promotes Elara Caring's philosophy, mission, and policies to ensure quality of care
• Performs direct physical therapy services per Plan of Care and physician orders
• Follows Plan of Care supervised by Physical Therapist and reports changes promptly
• Adheres to State Practice Act Guidelines
• Verifies Plan of Care prior to each visit and provides care accordingly
• Instructs patients/families in use of prosthetic/orthotic devices and home program
• Handles lifting, transfers, and movement of patients in a physically demanding environment
