Job summary

PARS Therapy in Stafford, TX is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patients throughout their recovery journey. In this onsite role you will help restore mobility, develop individualized care plans, educate patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote independence and long-term well-being.

Requirements include Texas PTA license, CPR certification, liability insurance, and prior home health or rehab experience.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Professional liability insurance coverage required.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Proven ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated clinical PTA experience.
• Ability to adapt care approaches to various patient needs.
• Knowledge of current treatment techniques and therapies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy services in the home setting under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist in identifying patient goals and implement interventions to meet mobility needs.
• Provide evidence-based, cost-effective treatments that promote movement and independence.
• Support alternatives to surgery and reduce reliance on medications through therapies.
• Develop and carry out individualized care plans with proven techniques.
• Create wellness programs tailored to each patient’s condition and goals.
• Educate and motivate patients to participate actively in rehabilitation.
• Promote health by improving strength, flexibility, coordination and balance.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and report updates to the supervising therapist.
• Document all services and maintain patient records.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervising therapist.
