Qualifications

• Active PTA license in Texas
• Current CPR certification
• Professional liability insurance coverage
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team
• Proven clinical experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability in care approaches
• Knowledge of current treatment techniques and therapy practices
• Professional and compassionate approach when educating and engaging with patients

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy services in the home setting under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Identify patient goals and implement interventions for functional mobility
• Provide evidence-based, cost-effective treatments
• Support alternatives to surgery and reduce medication reliance
• Develop and carry out individualized care plans
• Create wellness and fitness programs for patients
• Educate and motivate patients to participate in rehabilitation
• Promote health by improving strength, flexibility, balance
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for coordinated care
• Document services and maintain patient records
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervising therapist
