Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
• Available to work a weekend rotation

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws governing the provision of physical therapy in home care and follow the plan of care as defined by the supervising PT.
• Instructs and aids patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, and mobility training
• Observe, record, and report patient responses; coordinate care with the healthcare team
• Educate patient, family, and caregivers on therapy within the PTA scope
• Function effectively in diverse home environments and with diverse patient populations
