Job summary

PARS Therapy in Bay City, TX is seeking a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant to support patients on their recovery journey. You will help restore mobility, improve functional independence, and enhance quality of life by delivering personalized care in the home setting.

Your role collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based therapies, educate patients, and develop individualized plans that promote movement, strength, and balance in daily life.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license in Texas required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Professional liability insurance coverage required.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy services in the home under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Identify patient goals and implement interventions for functional/m mobility needs.
• Provide evidence-based, cost-effective treatments to improve movement and independence.
• Support alternatives to surgery and reduce medication reliance through therapy.
• Develop and carry out individualized care plans with proven techniques.
• Create wellness and fitness programs tailored to each patient’s condition and goals.
• Educate and motivate patients to actively participate in rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Monitor progress, document outcomes, and report updates to the supervising therapist.
