Job summary

Alternate Solutions Health Network, LLC is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant I (PTA I) to deliver comprehensive skilled services in patients\' homes under the direction of a Physical Therapist. You will educate patients and families, ensure safety, document thoroughly, and maintain compliance with Medicare and agency guidelines.

The role requires a minimum of one year of PTA experience (acute setting preferred), valid state PTA licensure, and a valid driver\'s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of PTA experience, preferably in an acute setting.
• Excellent communication with patients, families, physicians and team members.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance in your name.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled services in a patient’s home as developed by the Physical Therapist plan of care.
• Observes, records, and reports patient reactions, changes, and progress.
• Performs physical therapy procedures and diagnostic tests as prescribed by the physician.
• Treats patients to relieve pain, restore function, and maintain maximum performance through therapy.
• Assesses functional problems and works toward goals with the physical therapist.
• Communicates with physician, therapist, and coworkers; participates in case conferences.
