Job summary

AccentCare Inc. in Southaven, MS is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our home health team. You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist, manage a patient caseload, and provide treatment and education in patients' homes.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with on-call. Requires associate degree, MS license, CPR, and valid driver's license; benefits include medical/dental/vision and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• Current license/permit to practice in Mississippi.
• CPR certification must be maintained.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license to travel to locations.
• Ability to educate patients and families on home safety and medical equipment.
• Capability to document patient care per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and document treatment per physician orders.
• Document interventions, approaches, and treatment priorities.
• Educate and counsel patients and families during treatment.
• Share patient status with supervising therapist and team.
• Deliver skilled treatment within agency and payer guidelines.
• Collaborate with team in planning and intervention.
• Complete daily notes and required forms timely to avoid interruptions.
• Meet productivity standards and participate in meetings.
