The Pennant Group, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join Beacon Home Health’s Smyrna, TN team. You will work under the supervising PT, delivering treatment and patient education to enhance well-being within the home health setting.

Responsibilities include exercising instruction, gait training, and coordination with the healthcare team to adjust plans as needed. This role emphasizes mobility, safety, and patient-centered care in the Smyrna area.

Qualificações

• Current PTA license in the state where services are rendered.
• Current CPR certification, driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• Must be able to reliably commute to multiple patient residences daily within the geographic area assigned.

Responsabilidades

• Perform treatment and provide exercise instruction and patient education to improve well-being per plan of care.
• Instruct and aid patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, transfers, and prosthetic training.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment to the supervising PT and coordinate care with the team.
