Job summary

Talin Home Healthcare in Northern Virginia is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality care to patients in their homes across Northern Virginia.

This role is essential in helping patients regain mobility and improve their overall physical function. The PTA will assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans, monitor progress, educate patients and

Qualifications

Must hold CPR certification and be a licensed PTA.
Experience with home health or geriatrics is preferred.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Assist the PT in implementing treatment plans for patients in home settings.
Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
Educate patients and families on exercises and recovery strategies.
Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and progress.
Ensure a safe, clean treatment environment and follow infection control protocols.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
