Job summary

Palms-Home-Care is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in Bradenton, Florida. The PTA will implement treatment plans, administer exercises, and monitor patient progress across various settings including home health.

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant or equivalent.
• 1 year of home health experience required.
• Current state licensure as a PTA.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans under the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities across geriatrics, orthopedics, pediatrics, outpatient, and acute care.
• Observe, assess, and document patient responses and progress; report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety precautions.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and progress notes.
