Job summary

a2z Physical Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide high-quality, one-on-one care in community-based home settings. The PTA will support orthopedic caseload and work under a licensed Physical Therapist to optimize function and reduce pain.

The role emphasizes flexible scheduling, ongoing professional development, and opportunities for advancement within a therapist-owned company. Travel throughout our service area is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold Maryland PTA license.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• CPR Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel within service area.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one physical therapy treatments in patients' homes under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, gait, balance, and manual therapy within PTA scope.
• Monitor progress and communicate changes to supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
