Job summary

UnitedHealth Group, including North Idaho Home Health and LHC Group, seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to support patients at home. You will perform treatment, provide exercise instruction, and educate patients under a supervising Physical Therapist, aiming to improve patient well-being.

Responsibilities include following state laws, documenting responses, coordinating with the care team, and teaching therapy techniques to patients, families, and caregivers in the home setting.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in physical therapy in Idaho.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and accessible transportation.
• Ability to work weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and plan of care defined by supervising PT.
• Instructs patients in active and passive exercise and gait training.
• Observe and report patient responses; coordinate with healthcare team.
• Educate patient and family on therapy within scope of PTA.
