Job summary

UnitedHealth Group seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in Oregon to provide PT services in home care under a PT. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available for external candidates. The role includes patient education, exercise instruction, and adherence to the plan of care.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, coordinating with the supervising PT and nursing staff, and participating in care plans and team meetings. CPR is preferred within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Current license to assist in physical therapy in Oregon (PTA)
• CPR certification preferred within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws governing home care physical therapy and the plan of care
• Instruct and aid patients in active and passive exercises and gait training
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment to the PT and care team
• Educate patient, family, and caregivers on therapy participation
• Visit patients per Plan of Treatment and document progress
