Assured Home Health, part of the UnitedHealth Group family, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant in Oregon to provide treatment and instruction under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. You will educate patients and families, monitor progress, and help improve overall well-being within the established plan of care.

Responsibilities include following state laws, delivering exercises, observing responses, and documenting progress.

Competenze

Current licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in Oregon.
Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.

Mansioni

Follow state laws and the plan of care under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
Instruct and aid patients in active and passive exercise, muscle re-education, gait, ADLs, transfers and prosthetic training.
Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment and changes in condition.
Educate patient, family, caregiver and other health care team members on therapy activities.
Visit patients according to the Plan of Treatment; complete progress notes per policy.
Participate in developing the Plan of Treatment and attend staff conferences as needed.
Adhere to Therapy Standards of Practice in service provision.
