Job summary

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to join our home health team in Atlanta, TX. The PT will evaluate patients in their homes, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver interventions to improve mobility and reduce pain.

Strong communication with patients and caregivers is essential. Education prerequisites include a graduate degree in Physical Therapy and an active TX license.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Texas
• LIability insurance coverage for TX PT license
• Graduate degree or higher in Physical Therapy
• Experience in home health or rehabilitative settings preferred
• Strong ability to adapt care approaches to patient needs
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment techniques

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical abilities and functional limitations in home health
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and mobility
• Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety techniques
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to achieve optimal outcomes
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes in digital systems
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists
• Conduct home safety assessments and prevent falls or re-injury
• Deliver compassionate care to empower patients toward independence
