Job summary

Elara Caring is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our home health team in the Norwalk, CT area. You will provide direct PT services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, following the Plan of Care and physician orders to ensure patient safety and continuity of care.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited PTA program, an active PTA license in Connecticut, and a willingness to travel up to 50%. Full-time position with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current, unrestricted PTA license valid for the state of work.
• 6+ months experience as a PTA preferred; able to travel 50%.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct physical therapy services per the Plan of Care and physician orders.
• Works under supervision of Physical Therapist and reports changes promptly.
• Instructs patients/families in home therapy program and safe use of devices.
• Travels within branch/office coverage area as required.
• Assists with transfers and positioning; maintains safety standards.
