Qualifications

• Must hold a current Physical Therapy Assistant license in the operating state.
• Experience in older adult rehabilitation preferred.
• Familiarity with governmental and regulatory guidelines in healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Provides and directs resident rehabilitation care within accepted practices.
• Evaluates residents and establishes effective treatment plans.
• Coordinates supervision of treatment plans with staff and other disciplines.
• Participates in screening residents according to schedules.
• Provides feedback to supervisor on clinical and rehabilitation issues.
• Participates in center-directed processes and services.
• Manages and documents treatment and non-treatment activities.
• Performs clinical documentation to meet requirements.
• Maintains billing records to meet requirements.
• Assists with marketing efforts as directed.
• Participates in in-service training; may travel to other facilities.
