Job summary

Millennium Physician Group is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Home Health Team in Collier County. You will provide skilled therapy under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility and independence in their homes.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans with therapeutic exercises, gait training, patient and family education, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA in Florida.
• Minimum of 6 months in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or rehab.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Implement treatment plans including therapeutic exercises, gait training, and assistive device training.
• Educate patients and families on techniques to support daily living and functional skills.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and interventions.
• Adhere to infection control guidelines to protect patients and staff.
