Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
• Current certification or license as required by state law.

• Possess and maintain current CPR certification.
• Licensed driver with automobile that is in good working order and insured.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct physical therapy according to directions of physical therapist.
• Treats patient to relieve pain and restore function.
• Aids patients in therapeutic exercises and functional training.
• Utilizes physical agents like heat, cold, and light.
• Observes and reports patient's reactions to treatment.
• Instructs patients in care and use of mobility devices.
• Maintains necessary clinical records.
• Participates in home care team meetings.
