CARE FIRST HOME HEALTH CARE INC is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide therapy services in the home setting under the direction of a Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include treating patients to relieve pain, assisting with exercises, instructing on device use, and maintaining clinical records. Candidates must have graduated from an accredited program and hold current certification. A valid driver's license and CPR certification are required. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
• Current certification or license as required by state law.
• Good verbal and written communication and organization skills.
• Maintain current CPR certification.
• Licensed driver with an insured automobile.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct physical therapy per physical therapist's directions.
• Treats patients to relieve pain and develop or restore function.
• Directs and aids patients in therapeutic exercises.
• Maintains necessary records and clinical notes.
• Participates in Team meetings and Inservice Education Program.
