Roadrunner Home Healthcare is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our Corrales team. You will work closely with patients each day to guide exercises, motivate recovery, and help patients regain daily function while ensuring safety and accuracy in records and treatment setup.

The ideal candidate holds an active state PTA license, demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and can remain positive and proactive in a fast-paced home-health environment.

Qualifications

• Must have an active state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to create a positive, nurturing environment and work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with exercises and daily functional tasks, correcting form and ensuring safety.
• Review and administer individualized treatment plans and track patient progress.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure equipment is clean and ready for use.
• Assist patients using devices such as walkers, canes, or wheelchairs.
• Support and encourage patients through recovery and life changes, providing guidance as needed.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment and proper equipment maintenance.
