Job summary

Ohana Pacific Health is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver PT services in patient homes under a supervising physical therapist. You will monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as needed to support recovery and function in a Hawaii home health setting.

Qualified candidates have an accredited PTA program and Hawaii PTA license, with BLS CPR. Prior home health experience is preferred; comprehensive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Hawaii state license to practice as a PTA.
• Current Basic Life Support CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
• Experience as a PTA preferred, ideally in home health or related settings.

Responsibilities

• Administers physical therapy treatment as directed by a PT.
• Observes patient responses and reports observations to the supervising PT.
• Modifies treatment procedures within the treatment plan as patient status changes.
