Job summary

Atrinity Home Health, part of LHC Group and the Optum family, seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver treatment and education under a supervising Physical Therapist. You will guide exercises, monitor progress, and adapt plans to improve patient well‑being in home settings.

The role requires PTA licensure in the state, a valid driver's license, weekend availability, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.
• Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to perform physical tasks required for patient care, including lifting, transferring, and assisting with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Follow state-specific laws governing home care therapy as defined by the supervising PT.
• Instruct and assist patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADLs, and mobility.
• Observe and report patient responses, coordinate care with the healthcare team.
• Educate patient, family, and caregivers on therapy within the PTA scope.
• Function effectively in diverse home environments.
