Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to provide home health visits across Prince William County, VA. Flexible PRN, Part Time, or Full Time roles available in adult and geriatric home care settings.

You will assess joints, gait, balance, and strength; implement wound care and develop individualized care plans; educate clients and families and document care using EMR on a tablet.

Qualifications

• Current VA Physical Therapist license.
• Graduate of a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the AMA accreditation.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform diagnostic tests and measurements including mobility, range of joints, transfer status, stability, gait, strength, balance, and safety assessments.
• Implement protective wound care interventions and use evidence-based dressings and topical agents.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with manual therapy, gait training, balance and other interventions.
• Educate clients and families on rehabilitative care and home safety.
• Accurately document observations, interventions and evaluations using a touch pad tablet.
