Job summary

Atlantic Visiting Nurse, part of Atlantic Health, is seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in Morris County home health settings. The role collaborates with an interdisciplinary team and offers a flexible schedule, Monday–Friday 8–4 with weekend rotation every 5–7 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial examinations and differential diagnosis.
• Provides and prescribes plans of care consisting of corrective therapeutic exercise.
• Performs manual treatments consisting of soft tissue techniques, joint mobilizations, and many more.
• Supervises and interacts with support staff and maintain proper documentation.
• Evaluates and establishes a plan of care and treats patients accordingly.
• Documents patient care and charges appropriately, and documents the course of patient care, including progress made and the ongoing need for treatment.
• Works with other professionals in an effective manner
• Provides clinically appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Evaluates patient response to treatment and provides feedback to the interdisciplinary team.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
