Job summary

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our home health team serving Red Rock, TX and surrounding areas. You will evaluate patients, design personalized treatment plans, and deliver interventions in patients’ homes, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize function and independence.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Physical Therapist license required.
• Professional liability insurance coverage for TX license.
• Graduate degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitative settings preferred.
• Ability to adapt care approaches to diverse patients.
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based techniques and best practices.
• Excellent communication and professional demeanor in patient education.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical abilities and functional limitations in a home health setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function, improve mobility, and alleviate pain.
• Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety techniques, and adaptive strategies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes using digital platforms.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists.
• Conduct home safety assessments and make recommendations to prevent falls or re-injury.
• Deliver compassionate care while empowering patients to achieve greater independence.
