Northern Arizona Home Health in Prescott, AZ is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to perform treatment and provide exercise instruction and patient education to improve well-being under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

You will follow the plan of care, assist with gait, ADLs, and mobility, and coordinate with the care team. The role requires weekend availability and a valid PTA license, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.
• Preferred: Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to perform physical tasks required for patient care, including lifting, transferring, and assisting with mobility.

Responsabilités

• Follow state laws and the supervising PT's plan of care.
• Instruct active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, transfers and mobility.
• Observe and report patient responses and coordinate with the care team.
• Educate patient and family on therapy techniques and safety.
