Job summary

StretchMed Marlborough seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to support patients in improving mobility and wellbeing, working with licensed therapists to implement plans and assist rehabilitation. Travel locally to patient homes with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities include administering treatment plans, performing therapeutic exercises, documenting records, and attending department meetings. A valid PTA license, CPR, and at least two years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current state license to practice Physical Therapy.
• Proof of CPR certification.
• Driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Minimum two years experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Must read, write and speak fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Administer the physical therapy treatment plan as developed by the Physical Therapist.
• Administer non-complex active and passive manual therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Document daily/weekly/monthly records and submit paperwork on time.
• Attend educational meetings and participate in department in-services.
• Notify PT or Executive Director of equipment failures or departmental issues.
• Apply infection control and universal precautions in patient care.
• Accept clinical assignments within competence and education.
• Promote compliance with third-party payors through coaching and education.
