Nurturing Home Healthcare Agency is seeking Physical Therapists with a minimum of one year of experience to provide assessment, evaluation, and physical therapy for clients. The role is part-time or contract; salary ranges from $75.00 to $85.00 per hour. Flexible scheduling and the Houston area are highlighted in the benefits and work locations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Physical Therapy license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of one year's supervised PT experience within the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and implement physical therapy needs, including Plans of Care and goals.
• Work with client and family to achieve maximum physical recovery.
• Identify and secure necessary support personnel, supplies and equipment.
• Perform client visits as directed in Plan of Care.
• Instruct and supervise clients and other health care personnel including PT Assistants.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify, assess, and implement physical therapy needs as appropriate including development of Plan of Care treatments and goals
• Work with client and client's family members to achieve maximum physical recovery
• Identify and secure necessary support personnel, supplies and equipment
• Perform client visits as directed in Plan of Care
• Instruct and supervise clients and other health care personnel including Physical Therapy Assistants

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education/Experience

• Graduate of a Master's or higher degree in physical therapy from an institution approved by the Educational Section of the American Physical Therapy Association
• Currently licensed as a Physical Therapist in state where therapist practices.
• A minimum of one year's experience as a Licensed Physical Therapist in a supervised setting within the past three (3) years.
