Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. in Roanoke, VA is seeking compassionate Home Health Personal Care Aides (PCA) to provide one-on-one in-home care across Roanoke and surrounding areas.

Pay is $13.50 per hour with flexible Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN schedules and weekly pay with direct deposit. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, mobility support, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, and safety monitoring.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• PCA certificate from an approved program required.
• Six (6) months healthcare experience preferred.
• Current tuberculosis test required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to clients in a home setting.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, hygiene, and feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, and transportation assistance.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and observe/report changes in client condition.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
• Offer companionship and participate in activities clients enjoy such as reading, games, puzzles, and hobbies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with supervisors and care team members.
