OneWell Health Care is seeking a Personal Attendant to provide hands-on care to individuals with IDD and Autism in home-based and community settings. You will assist with daily living activities, mobility, meal prep and medication support while promoting independence and safety in line with care plans.

The role operates in home and community settings, requiring physical tasks, proper body mechanics, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification (required or must be obtained within designated timeframe).
• Experience as Personal Attendant, Direct Support Professional (DSP), or caregiver preferred.
• English proficiency (verbal and written) required; bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist with activities of daily living, personal care, mobility, meal preparation, and medication support as authorized.
• Observe and report changes in participants' health, behavior, and well-being; maintain accurate documentation.
• Follow behavior support and safety plans and ensure services comply with regulatory requirements.
• Transport participants when authorized and participate in required training.
