Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Montana is seeking an Occupational Therapist to lead rehabilitation efforts for patients recovering from illnesses and injuries. You will develop personalized treatment plans, perform therapeutic exercises, and educate patients on pain relief and mobility enhancement.

The role reports to the Director of Rehabilitation Services and involves documenting progress, supervising assistants, and coordinating care with families and other providers. Active state licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Active state OT licensure required.
• Experience in physical rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to learn about their condition and goals.
• Diagnose movement dysfunction by observing patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise and support assistants and students where applicable.
• Document all regulatory and clinical information in electronic records.
• Assess progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Provide discharge summaries per requirements.
• Participate in trainings and conferences.
• Communicate progress with health team.
