Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold an active state Occupational Therapist license.
• Experience aligning with regulatory and clinical practice requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms.
• Diagnose movement dysfunction by observing patients as they move.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for recovery.
• Coach patients and teach therapeutic techniques to ease pain and improve mobility.
• Maintain patient records and track progress toward goals.
• Use standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to guide interventions.
• Assess progress and adjust treatments in the clinical record.
• Document outcomes and coordinate referrals as needed.
• Provide counseling to patients and families about physical disorders.
• Communicate progress, barriers, and plans with the health team.
• Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries per policies.
• Document all required information in the electronic system.
