PARS Therapy in Central Austin, TX is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our home health care team. You will work with patients in their homes to restore independence and improve quality of life through individualized treatment plans.

This role emphasizes collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, education for patients and families, and hands-on interventions focused on daily living and mobility.

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapy license in Texas (required).
• Graduate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
• Current professional liability insurance for practice in Texas (required).
• Previous experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to manage diverse patient personalities.
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patient conditions and creating individualized treatment plans.
• Implementing therapeutic strategies to improve daily living and motor skills.
• Educating patients and families on techniques to support recovery and independence.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as needed.
