Job summary

PARS Therapy in Lufkin, TX is seeking a dedicated Home Health Occupational Therapist to support patients in regaining independence at home. You will deliver personalized, goal-oriented therapy across ADLs and IADLs, improving mobility and quality of life.

You will collaborate with families, educate caregivers, document progress, and follow evidence-based practices. Texas OT license and professional liability insurance are required; prior home health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active TX OT license required.
• Professional liability insurance required in Texas.
• Graduate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation preferred.
• Strong communication and rapport-building with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in developing and maintaining ADLs and IADLs.
• Deliver individualized home-based therapy under supervision of OT and coordinate care with families.
• Adapt interventions to improve safety and independence at home.
• Educate clients on routines, adaptive equipment, and task breakdowns.
• Document progress and maintain up-to-date records.
• Track treatment goals and follow up regularly.
