Job summary

Classic Home Care, a nurse-owned and operated skilled home health agency serving Southeast Michigan since 2003, is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist to join our home health team. You will provide skilled OT services to patients in their homes and work with an RN-led team in a supportive, professional environment.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Occupational Therapy license is required.
• Reliable transportation to and from patient visits.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance in your name.
• Previous home health care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy per the physician’s plan of care.
• Assist in evaluation and assessment of patient functioning; set goals.
• Design orthotics as indicated and apply therapeutic activities to restore function.
• Treat patients to improve function and promote independence for patient and caregiver.
