Job summary

Ascension at Home together with Compassus seeks a Home Health Occupational Therapist to help patients live safely and independently in their homes. You will assess functional needs and support daily activities, working one-on-one with clients where help is most needed.

Requirements include a B.S. in OT, Texas OT license, valid driver’s license, current CPR, TB test and hepatitis declination, and at least two years of acute care or rehab OT experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Current State OT license is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR current, TB test negative, hepatitis consent/declination.
• Two years’ experience as an OT in an acute care or rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with patients in their home, addressing the most needs.
• Empower patients to live safely and productively at home and complete daily tasks.
• Help patients and families adapt their environment and use equipment to improve participation and quality of life.
