Job summary

Roadrunner Home Health LLC is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our in-home therapy team in New Mexico. You will assess patients in their homes, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement interventions to restore daily living skills.

The ideal candidate has an OT degree, NM licensure, and strong communication. Experience in home health and CPR certification are preferred. Join a compassionate, patient-centered team focused on improving quality of life.

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in New Mexico.
• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• At least 2 years of home health or related experience (preferred but not required).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide in-home therapeutic interventions including exercises, adaptive techniques, and assistive devices.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet goals.
• Educate patients and caregivers on techniques to improve daily living skills and safety.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans according to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices, trends, and techniques in occupational therapy.
• Provide a compassionate and professional approach to therapy services.
• Attends required meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned
