Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Texas.
• Previous home health experience preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and needs through comprehensive assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to improve patients' independence.
• Implement therapeutic interventions focused on daily living activities.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on exercise programs and safety strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Participate in continuing education to stay current in occupational therapy practices.

Skills

Knowledge of rehabilitation principles related to activities of daily living
