PARS Therapy in Tyler, TX is seeking a dedicated Home Health Occupational Therapist to support patients in their homes, helping regain independence and function through personalized, goal-oriented care.

You will assess home environments, implement evidence-based OT treatments, educate families, and document progress while collaborating with caregivers to ensure safe, effective therapy and meaningful outcomes for diverse patients.

Qualifications

• Active OT license in Texas (TX) required.
• Professional liability insurance specific to TX OT practice.
• Graduate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
• Previous experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in developing, recovering, and maintaining daily living and work skills.
• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of an OT.
• Adapt and apply therapeutic interventions to enhance safety and independence at home.
• Educate clients and families on therapy strategies and task breakdowns.
• Recommend and train in adaptive equipment use.
• Assess home environments and suggest safety modifications.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers to guide and educate.
• Track and report patient progress toward goals.
• Document care and maintain up-to-date records.
• Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure continued progress.
