Qualifications

• Must have valid and unrestricted state license.
• Graduate of ACOTE-accredited OTA program.
• If foreign-trained, must be deemed equivalent by credentials eval org approved by AOTA.
• One year of experience with adults in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of home care and competency in patient care skills.
• Communicate and document tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to maintain continuity of care.
• Follow procedures for medical emergencies and incidents.
• Report patient progress and problems to supervisors.
• Provide a clean, safe environment with stocked supplies and functioning equipment.
• Support cultural diversity and teamwork.
• Self-direct, prioritize, manage time, and meet deadlines.
