Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited OTA program.
• Current license to practice as an OTA in the assigned state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Eligible to take NBCOT entry-level exam.
• 1+ years of OTA experience.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled interventions under the supervision of an occupational therapist.
• Documents each visit per guidelines for the patient's clinical record.
• Observes, records and reports patient progress and changes to the supervising OT and staff.
• Provides patient/caregiver resources for ADL/IADL needs.
• Promotes wellness and encourages occupational engagement.
• Keeps abreast of OTA trends and coordinates with care centers.
