Job summary

Lifespan Therapy is seeking a Home Health Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to serve California patients in a flexible home health role. You will implement plans of care created by a supervising OT, focusing on ADLs, adaptive equipment training, and home safety to enhance independence and safety.

You'll schedule visits via our app, document patient progress in TherapySync, and collaborate with the supervising OT to ensure coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Licensed CA OTA required.
• CPR or BLS certification required.
• Driver's license and auto insurance.
• TB test within the last year.
• Professional liability and business license (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide Skilled COTA care: Implement individualized plans of care developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Perform Therapeutic Interventions: Focus on ADLs, adaptive equipment training, and home safety to help patients improve their independence and safety.
• Report Patient Progress: Document patient responses to treatment and communicate effectively with the supervising OT to ensure coordinated care.
• Manage Your Visits: Set your own schedule and visit cadence based on the plan of care.
• Document Efficiently: Use one simple EMR system for all notes (with tools available to minimize documentation time!).

Education
