Job summary

PARS Therapy in Southeast San Antonio, TX is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our home health care team. You will evaluate patients at home, develop individualized treatment plans, and help them regain independence and improve daily living skills.

Responsibilities include educating patients and families, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and monitoring progress to adjust interventions as needed. A Texas OT license and liability insurance are required.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Occupational Therapy license
• Current professional liability insurance in Texas
• Graduate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapistto join our home health care team in Southeast San Antonio, TX. In this role, you will partner closely with patients on their recovery journey, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life within the comfort of their own homes.

Essential Job Functions

• Evaluating patient conditions and creating individualized treatment plans
• Implementing therapeutic strategies to improve daily living and motor skills
• Educating patients and families on techniques to support recovery and independence
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
• Monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as needed

Requirements:

• Active Occupational Therapylicense in the state of Texas (required)
• Current professional liability insurance for practice in Texas (required)
• Graduate degree or higherin Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Previous experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage a variety of patient personalities
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices and therapeutic techniques
• Professional, compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills
