You will evaluate patients, develop care plans, set measurable goals, and document progress while coordinating with COTAs and the Patient Care Coordinator.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Occupational Therapy, NC licensure, passing the NBCOT, CPR, and at least one year of therapy experience outside home health.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited school.
• Current NC OT licensure and NBCOT certification.
• One year of therapeutic experience in a non-home health environment.
• CPR certified and strong communication and organization skills.

Aufgaben

• Provides patient care services with direct treatment and follow-up.
• Evaluates new patients using motor, sensory-perceptual, and performance assessments.
• Develops a care plan based on diagnosis and assessment data.
• Establishes measurable goals tied to the patient’s assessments.
• Documents care data accurately and timely, showing progress.
• Coordinates monthly supervision of COTAs.
• Submits daily/weekly visit schedules to Scheduler.
• Communicates with intercompany and intracompany contacts.
• Discusses reimbursement policies with patient/family and care team.
• Coordinates referrals to appropriate disciplines.
• Provides in-service education and training for staff and students.
• Conducts research and assists with orientation of new employees.
